Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

These terms govern the BuildStax public website and free early-access request process. They do not govern a paid subscription, prepaid credit, or other purchase. Any paid service requires separate approved terms and mandatory disclosures presented before purchase. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the website or submit an access request.

2. Description of service

BuildStax is an AI coding agent that reads your codebase, plans changes, writes code, and verifies results. The service is currently in early access and may change as we develop it.

3. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for all code and content processed through BuildStax.
• You must have the necessary rights to any repositories you connect.
• You are responsible for reviewing all changes before merging or deploying.
• You must not use BuildStax for illegal or harmful activities.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our proprietary models or routing logic.
• Do not abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service.
• Do not share your account credentials or API keys.
• Do not use BuildStax to generate malicious, deceptive, or infringing code.

5. AI-generated content

BuildStax generates code using AI models. AI-generated code may contain errors, security vulnerabilities, or unintended behavior. You must review, test, and validate output before use. BuildStax is not professional legal, medical, financial, or other regulated advice and must not be used for unapproved consequential automated decisions.

6. Early access and future paid services

Joining the waitlist is free, does not guarantee access, and does not create a subscription or authorize a charge. If paid services become available in your location, the seller identity, total price, taxes, renewal terms, cancellation method, withdrawal and refund rights, and applicable local terms will be shown before you agree or pay.

7. Termination

You may stop using BuildStax at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately.

8. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BuildStax is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that generated code will be correct or secure. This does not limit any warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BuildStax is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or deliberate misconduct, or your mandatory consumer rights.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. The date above identifies the current version. Changes apply prospectively, and we will provide additional notice or request agreement when applicable law requires it.
